Swing Set...
Swing Set is an all-female, a capella swing quartet based in Minneapolis, MN. They have been performing since 1999 with such crowd-pleasers as, "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Mairzy Doates," "Route 66," and "Zoot Suit Riot." If you are lucky you may even hear them throw in a little Captain and Tenille, John Denver, or ABBA.
A Little History...
They got started when Amy approached Adena about singing together, and they quickly found a third lady to form a trio. In 2000 the group, with the addition of Alyssa, became a quartet.
Over the last six years they have performed for private parties, political fundraisers, TNN, and have hosted a slew of public shows and other gigs. In 2006, one of our members went on to pursue other dreams and we were lucky enough to find Laura.
They are excited to begin the next chapter of Swing Set and welcome you all to check them out!
